 Bokuto Koutarou/Akaashi Keiji Haikyuu!! Words: 2077
Tags Suicide, homophobic parents
Based on the Guam legend "Puntan Dos Amantes" (Two Lovers Point)

Akaashi tuned out the world. He couldn’t hear or feel anything.

Akaashi looked at his father; he was yelling. Then, he looked at his mother who was crying, clutching her chest and gasping for air as tears rolled down her cheek. Akaashi looked back at his father who was still yelling, then back at his hands. There was blood. Whose blood? Akaashi didn’t know. All he knew was that he had to get out of here. Out of this confining, suffocating building he had once called “home”.

Akaashi ran. He ran as fast and as far as his legs could go.

Akaashi kept running until his legs gave out. He took a couple minutes to calm his breathing. Once he had caught his breath, Akaashi looked around and took in his surroundings. Akaashi saw beautiful trees, some flower bushes, and a bit further in front of him was the ocean. He took his time taking in the beautiful scenery before him. Then he spotted a bench, and decided to sit there to clear his mind.

Akaashi sat down, and thought about what had happened.

Akaashi went home at the usual time he always does. As he took off his shoes, he heard his father, “Keiji, your mother and I need to talk to you. It’s important.”

“Yes, father,” Akaashi replied.

After he took off his shoes, and placed them on the shelf, Akaashi walked to the kitchen where his parents were waiting for him. His mother smiled at him, “Have a seat, Keiji.”

Akaashi nodded and sat in front of his parents.

“Keiji,” his father started, “this will come to be a surprise for you, but a high ranking officer had made a proposal.” Akaashi’s dad took a deep breath, and looked at him in the eyes, “he would like for you to take his daughter’s hand in marriage.”

Akaashi’s eye twitched. They know how I feel about arranged marriages. Why are they even bringing this up with me? They already know that I’m-

“I didn’t say yes, Keiji.” Akaashi came back to reality and looked at his father, confusion written all over his face. “I told him how you feel about arranged marriages, so he’s asking if you would at least get to know his daughter before deciding that you don’t want to marry her. That’s all he’s asking for at the moment.”

Akaashi knew what was going to happen, but he couldn’t stop himself, “Father, you and mother both know that I’m ga-“ Akaashi was cut off with the sound of his mother gasping, and a glass cup hitting his face. Naturally, the cup broke into pieces when it made contact with his face, and had even cut him on the cheek.

Akaashi was in shock.

“Dear, don’t this. He’s your son!” Akaashi heard his mother say.

“Get off of me, woman!” Akaashi’s father had yelled. The next thing he knew, Akaashi heard his mother scream, and saw her land on the ground with an ‘oomph’. She had started to cry; which is not a good thing (Akaashi’s mother has a hard time breathing when she cries, so people are always careful around her). It wasn’t long until she started gasping for air.

Before he knew it, Akaashi was in the process of tuning out the world.

“You are a man, and a man doesn’t love other me-"

“HEY! Are you okay?”

Akaashi was pulled out of his thoughts, and the world blurred. He squinted to focus his eyes, and laid his eyes upon a pair of wide, golden eyes. Akaashi glared at them.

“Woah there! I was just checking to see if you were okay.” The mysterious man said.

“Yes. I’m fine. Thank you.” Akaashi replied.

“Huh… so does this mean I don’t have to worry about the blood on your face and hands?” the man asked with a worried expression and a hint of humor in his voice.

Akaashi looked at his hands, then touched his face and flinched.

“That’s what I thought. Here, let me help you.” The mysterious man sat down next to Akaashi, and took out a first aid kit from the bag he was holding. He pulled out a small bottle of rubbing alcohol, some gauze, and bandages. Then he looked at Akaashi, “This is going to sting a bit.”

Before Akaashi could protest, the man had put some alcohol on the gauze, and started dabbing Akaashi’s face. Akaashi flinched from the sting, and the man started blowing on his wound to help with the pain. “You’re doing fine. Almost done.” Once the blood was cleaned, the man put a band aide on his cheek.

“Thank you,” Akaashi mumbled; embarrassed that a stranger had to take care of him.

The man grinned widely, “No problem!” Akaashi swore that he saw the man glow. “I’m Bokuto by the way! Bokuto Koutarou!” He said as he stuck out his hand.

Akaashi gave a small smile, and shook Bokuto’s hand, “Akaashi Keiji. It’s nice to meet you Bokuto-san.”

“Nice meeting you too, Akaashi!” Bokuto said with genuine happiness. “So what brings you to this area of town?”

Akaashi creased his eyebrows, “What do you mean?”

“Ah! I’m sorry if I offended you, but this isn’t exactly a good area. Well, this place is actually nice, but the other parts of town are very dangerous. I asked because you look like you’re from a high class family, and we don’t have those around here.” Bokuto explained.

Hearing Bokuto’s explanation, Akaashi took the time to take a good look at his surroundings. What Bokuto said was true. The cliff area they were currently at was breathtakingly beautiful, but the town was gloomy and reeked with crime. “Hmmm… something… just happened at home, and I ran without thinking. I just ended up here.”

“Aaahhh… drama. Sometimes, you just can’t avoid.” Bokuto said in a voice that says that he knows that all too well. “You did a great job finding this place though. It’s basically the only safe haven for people. Nothing bad ever happens here.”

Akaashi smiled, “Thank you, Bokuto-san, for helping me and talking to me. It means a lot, and it helped.” Akaashi stood. “I need to get back home now, but I hope to see you again.”

Bokuto got up and smiled, “Of course, Akaashi! I’m sure we’ll bump into each other soon again.”

With that, the two parted ways, unsure if they will ever meet again.

As fate would have it, Bokuto and Akaashi had met several times. Due to the fact that he had to get to know the officer’s daughter and family, he often had to go through the unpleasant part of town. The two would always meet at the same place, around the same time. Akaashi was happy with their random meetings. It was as if they were meant to happen.

A week had passed since Bokuto and Akaashi started meeting each other like that. Akaashi was on his way to the officer’s house as usual when it suddenly hit him. The reason why he enjoys his random meetings with Bokuto. The reason why he always thinks back to the day they first met. The reason why he actually looks forward to seeing Bokuto. Akaashi Keiji, as gay as he was, realized that he was in love with Bokuto.

Upon realizing this, Akaashi felt a tug in his gut. Instead of heading to the officer’s house, he went to the cliff. The place where he had first met Bokuto. Akaashi didn’t know why he suddenly went that way, but on his way there, he saw a familiar face in an officer uniform. For all Akaashi could have known, it was a soldier who was under that officer he was supposed to meet. Akaashi didn’t care. All that mattered was arriving at the cliff.

Once Akaashi arrived at the cliff, he saw a familiar frame. He smiled and called out to him.
“Bokuto-san!”

Bokuto turned around and saw Akaashi. His eyes widened, and he smiled. “Hey Akaashi! What are you doing here?” Bokuto asked as Akaashi made his way to him.

“As crazy as it sounds, I just ended up here again.” Akaashi replied.

Bokuto’s smile grew. “Same here. I was wandering around and ended up here.”

An awkward silence grew between them. Bokuto was the first to break it. “Akaashi…” Bokuto said sounding unsure. “I actually have something very important to tell you.”

Akaashi looked at him with slight confusion, and then smiled. “You can tell me anything, Bokuto-san. You can trust me.”

Bokuto took a deep breath, “I… I like you, Akaashi.”

Akaashi’s smile grew a little, “I like you too, Bokuto-san. You’re a great pers-“

“No!” Bokuto yelled, cutting Akaashi off. “I like like you. Like… I love you, Akaashi.” Bokuto said sounding desperate. “I love you. You’re pretty, nice, smart, caring, and most of all, you actually like me for who I am. Everyone is either afraid of me or mean to me.” Bokuto shut his eyes closed. “I don’t know. I… I just don’t know what to do.” Bokuto sighed.

Akaashi was shocked to hear all this. He honestly thought that his feelings would be one sided. How could a man with those glorious muscles and handsome face be gay? Akaashi assumed that Bokuto was as straight as a ruler.

Akaashi smiled fondly at Bokuto, and held his hand gently. “I like you too Bokuto-san. I actually just realized that not too long ago.”

Bokuto’s eyes widened. “Really Akaashi? You… you like me back?”

Akaashi gave Bokuto the biggest smile he could make, “Yes. I like you back. I love you, Bokuto-san.”

Before Bokuto could say anything, he heard a loud voice, “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING, KEIJI?!?!”

Akaashi flinched at the sound of the voice. He and Bokuto looked to where the voice had come from. To Akaashi’s surprise, it was not just his father who was there, but his mother, the officer and his wife and daughter were also there.

Akaashi panicked, “This isn’t good Bokuto-san.”

“Akaashi, what’s wrong?”

“The man who just yelled is my father. He and my mother know I’m gay, but they still insisted that meet with the officer’s daughter. I knew I wouldn’t be able to love her. She’s a great person, but I can’t love her romantically no matter the amount of times we go out. The officer will most likely have my head, and my father would probably let him.” Akaashi let out as quickly as he could.

Akaashi knew that something terrible would happen, not only to him, but to Bokuto as well. That wasn’t something he could live with. Bokuto did nothing to deserve any type of punishment.

Akaashi was about to make a suggestion when Bokuto spoke, “Hey Akaashi. I don’t know about you, but I can’t live without you. I would rather die than know that you’re with someone else you don’t even love or suffering because of me.”

“It is the same with me, Bokuto-san. I would rather throw myself off this cliff.”

“We should do it.” Bokuto said. Akaashi looked at him, unsure of what he was talking about. “Let’s jump. I’ll be happy to do it if it means spending the afterlife with you.” Bokuto said looking into Akaashi’s eyes.

Akaashi nodded. “As long as we can be together, I’d be happy to.”

Bokuto and Akaashi faced each other and looked into each other’s eyes, having a private conversation.

“Keiji! You better not be thinking about doing something ridiculous.” Akaashi’s father said noticing the silence between the two.

Akaashi ignored his father, and concentrated on Bokuto. “I love you, Bokuto-san” Akaashi whispered, tears pooling his eyes.

“I love you too, Akaashi.” Bokuto said, wiping away the tears on Akaashi’s face.

Akaashi wrapped his arms around Bokuto’s neck, and pulled him down. Their foreheads touched, and slowly, their lips met. The kiss electrified Akaashi. He knew that this was a “until we meet again” kiss.

Their first and last kiss was disrupted by the sound of rushing footsteps and yelling. Bokuto and Akaashi ran to the edge of the cliff and jumped. As they fell, Bokuto held Akaashi close, and Akaashi had his arms around Bokuto’s waist. After a few seconds of falling, Bokuto and Akaashi soon crashed into the sharp rocks that were at the bottom of the cliff.

Bokuto Koutarou and Akaashi Keiji gave up their lives in the name of true love.

Bokuto&Akaashi&Kuroo Link

Bokuto had a great day. He played volleyball with his roommates, Akaashi and Kuroo, and some of his old high school buddies. Then they went out to eat lunch, and caught up. Bokuto had fun chatting away, and exaggerating his stories. Sometimes Akaashi would correct him, making his adventurous story sound boring. Other times Kuroo would join in and make the story even more unbelievable than it already was. Bokuto even had his favorite food, yakiniku, for dinner and helped clean up. He showered, brushed his teeth, and went to bed at a reasonable.

Everything was just fine. He didn’t do anything wrong to upset Kuroo and Akaashi or the gods up above. So why was he stuck in the toilet at 2am, and living with people who sleep like the dead? Bokuto sure as hell didn’t know.
As Bokuto thought about the tragic situation he was in, he wondered how Kuroo and Akaashi didn’t wake up. After all, he did make a lot of noise during his downfall into the toilet. He yelled, “Who is in here?” as he fell, knocked down everything on the counter, and probably yelled for his life (he definitely didn’t scream because screaming isn’t manly at all).

Bokuto called for help, and made more noise hoping that someone would wake up and help him. Unfortunately for him, no one came and he had to deal with his butt touching the cold toilet water.

“It’s 2am. Kuroo normally wakes up at 5 for his morning jog, so maybe he’ll find me… three hours doesn’t sound so bad… I think.” Bokuto mumbled to himself.

Of course, being the type of person he was, Bokuto soon became bored. He sang some his favorite songs, thought about his pet fish that died when he was 8 years old, and all his life decisions that led to this very moment.

Bokuto wrapped his arms around his knees, and was on the verge of giving up. Thirty minutes had passed, and he was sure he was going to fall asleep. His butt became numb to the cold water, and he was oddly comfortable. If he slept in the position he was in, he would surely regret it in the morning.

Just as Bokuto was about to doze off, the bathroom door opened. “Bokuto-san. What are you doing?”

Bokuto looked up and saw his savior. Tears streamed down his face as he stuttered, “A-Akaashiiiiii….”

Akaashi looked at Bokuto, to the mess that was on the floor, and back to Bokuto. “I’m going to assume that you forgot to put down the seat before bed, and now you’re stuck,” Akaashi said as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

Bokuto nodded his head, “Yeah. How did you know?”

“How else would you be stuck in the toilet, Bokuto-san?” Akaashi asked.

Before Bokuto could answer, a tired voice cut in, “Akaashi, what are you doing standing in front of the bathroom?” Kuroo asked.
Akaashi didn’t answer because as soon as Kuroo saw Bokuto, he bent over and laughed. “Bro!! How the fuck did you get stuck in the toilet?”

“Kuroo…. now isn’t the time. My ass is numb and I’m tired. Can you guys just stop judging me and help me out?” Bokuto whined.

After a couple more minutes of Kuroo laughing, Akaashi and Kuroo finally helped Bokuto out of the toilet. To their surprise, it didn’t take long at all. Just a simple pull from both of them, and Bokuto was out.

 omfg. i'm finally done!! I'm sorry this took so long for me to write. T.T

Kuroo woke up with a smile on his face.  He looked at the picture on his night stand and sighed with contentment.  In the picture were him and his, not one, but three boyfriends, Akaashi,
Bokuto, and Kenma.  Today was the day of their 5 year anniversary, but unfortunately for Kuroo, his boyfriends were not able to get their special day off from work.  So he decided to do something for them, and went out to buy groceries and supplies.

When Kuroo got back from his errands, he heard a knock on the door.  He opened the door to see Suga with what seemed to be lunch in his hands.  Kuroo invited Suga in with a smile.

“You seem to be in a good mood today, Kuroo,” Suga said as he placed the takeout food on the dining table.

“Yup! Can you guess why?” Kuroo asked eagerly.

Suga chuckled, “Nope. What’s going on today?”

“Today is our 5th anniversary!! Well… not you and me. Bokuto, Akaashi, Kenma, and me!  We’ve been together for 5 years, Suga. Can you believe that?” Kuroo rambled as he took out cups, plates, and utensils for them to use.

“Yeah. Totally unbelievable! Time just went by so fast!” Suga said a little forcibly.

Kuroo didn’t catch the forced tone in Suga’s voice. “It did go by fast. Five years with those dorks. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love them… a lot. They were just always there, y’know?”

Suga nodded as Kuroo talked. His expression growing grim as Kuroo went on.  How do I tell him? It gets worse every time.

“-ga. Suga!” Suga jerked and looked at Kuroo. “You okay? You look stressed.” Kuroo said with worry.

“Yeah. I’m fine… it’s just…” Suga trailed off. You can do this Koushi. Suga took a deep breath, and looked at Kuroo in the eyes. “They’re dead, Kuroo.”

Kuroo tilted his head in confusion. “Who’s dead? What are you talking about?”

“Bokuto, Akaashi, and Kenma died in a car accident 2 years ago, remember?”

Kuroo flinched, and stared at Suga with disbelief.

[Flashback]

Kuroo woke up with a smile on his face.  He looked at the picture on his night stand and sighed with contentment.  In the picture were him and his, not one, but three boyfriends, Akaashi,
Bokuto, and Kenma.  Today was the day of their 5 year anniversary, but unfortunately for Kuroo, his boyfriends were not able to get their special day off from work.  So he decided to do something for them, and went out to buy groceries and supplies.

Kuroo sang happily as he shopped.  He bought ingredients to make yakiniku, nanohana no karashiae, grilled mackerel, and apple pie at the grocery store.  Then he went to the party store to buy decorations for the living and dining rooms.

As soon as he got home, Kuroo started decorating.  The decorations were simple.  He put up a “happy anniversary” banner, covered the coffee and dining tables with a table cloth, and put an empty vase in the middle of the dining table.

After decorating, Kuroo prepared the apple pie. Then he grilled the mackerel and the nanohana no karashiae as the pie baked.  When the pie was done, Kuroo put it to the side to cool and started on cooking the yakiniku.

When the yakiniku was done, Kuroo put the food on plates and placed them on the dining table.  Before he decided to shower and get ready, Kuroo decided to run down to the flower shop to buy roses for the vase.  He walked outside, locked the door, and as he made his way down the street, Kuroo heard tires screech and a loud crash.  He wanted to continue walking, but his guts told him otherwise. Kuroo immediately ran down the street in the opposite direction.  As soon as Kuroo got to the scene of the accident, he could hear the sirens blaring and people yelling.  He pushed some bystanders to the side and walked closer.  Kuroo saw the car that was flipped over and smoking, and immediately recognized the license plate.  Before he could run in to save his boyfriends, Kuroo was stopped by a police officer. He fought and yelled as the officer pulled him away from the loves of his life.

[end of flashback]

Kuroo came back to reality and whispered to Suga, “Get out of my house.”

“Kuroo! I just want to help you! You’ve been like this for 2 years! It’s the same every day!” Suga defended.

“Just get out, Suga. Please?” Kuroo said as he tries to forget what he just saw.

Suga looked at Kuroo with sympathy. “Okay. Call me when you feel better.”  Kuroo nodded, and Suga left.

Kuroo walked to the couch, and slumped into it.  He picked up the picture that was on the coffee table.  A tear rolled down his cheek as he stared at the picture.

[Flashback]

Kuroo was in the room where Bokuto, Akaashi, and Kenma were.

“Please…” Kuroo cried. “Please wake up. What am I going to do without you guys? Come on. Wake up. I made Yakiniku for you, Bo. You love that stuff. I also made apple pie for Kenma and nanohana no karashiae for Akaashi. I need you guys. Don’t lea-“ Kuroo stopped as he heard the sound he dreaded the most.  All three of them were flat-lining, and he couldn’t do anything.  Doctors and nurses rushed into the room.  One of them managed to make Kuroo sit somewhere where he wouldn’t be in the way.  Everything was going by too fast.  It wasn’t long until he saw the doctors cover his boyfriends’ faces with the blanket. Kuroo didn’t move. He sat there for days as nurses tried to make him leave.

[End of flashback]

Kuroo groaned loudly.  This wasn’t supposed to happen.  He put the picture down, and went to bed.  A few tears escaped his eyes, and he fell asleep.

Kuroo woke up with a smile on his face.  He looked at the picture on his night stand and sighed with contentment.  In the picture were him and his, not one, but three boyfriends, Akaashi, Bokuto, and Kenma.  Today was the day of their 5 year anniversary, but unfortunately for Kuroo, his boyfriends were not able to get their special day off from work.  So he decided to do something for them, and went out to buy groceries and supplies.

Bonus Round 3 - KuroTsuki

Prompt:

Package: A box with cat wrapping paper
From: Kuroo
To: Tsukki
Note: Good luck on your entrance exams! I'll be waiting for you!

~~~~
Tsukishima had just came home from school, and was greeted with a box that was wrapped in cat wrapping paper. He noticed that the package was addressed to him, so he picks it up and goes to his room.
Tsukishima stared at the package. Cat patterned wrapping paper… Yamaguchi and two other idiots are the only ones who call me Tsukki. Yamaguchi normally wraps things with dinosaur or strawberry prints. Bokuto-san is the idiot who loves owls, so that leaves the other one: Kuroo-san,  Tsukishima thought. He continued to stare at the package; unsure if he should rip the package open or take caution opening it.
Tsukishima wondered how Kuroo got his address. He doesn’t remember giving him any contact information besides his number. He also wondered what Kuroo could possibly want to send him. Kuroo could’ve just sent a postcard or something. Just as Tsukishima had finally gathered the courage to open the box, his mom called him down for dinner. He sighed, placed the box on his desk, and went to the dining room.
“How was school, Kei?” his mom asked as he sat down.
“It was good. Nothing really happened.” Tsukishima replied.
His mom hums. “Ah! There’s actually a pack-“
“I know. I got it already.”
“So what’s in it?”
Tsukishima shrugged. “I don’t know. Didn’t open it yet.”
His mom nods, and decides to drop the conversation so that they could eat. Tsukishima was thankful that his mom knew when to drop a topic, especially when it’s something he doesn’t want to talk about.
After dinner, Tsukishima went up to his room, picked up the box, and sat on his bed. He took a deep breath, and with an unsure mind, he tore off the cat wrapping paper. He took another look at the box. What if this is a prank? Kuroo-san is the type to this kind of thing…. Right?
With shaky hands Tsukishima opened the box. In the box was something wrapped in tissue paper, and a note that had “Good luck on your entrance exams! I’ll be waiting for you!!” written on it. A small smile had formed as he read the note. He then put it aside, and removed the tissue paper. Under the tissue paper was a plush cat that, for some reason, had the same hairstyle as Kuroo. Tsukishima’s smile grew a little, and he looked at the plush with a warm expression. He had forgotten that Kuroo could actually be sweet and thoughtful.
Tsukishima took out his phone, and snapped a picture. The plush was next to his face, and his expression was indifferent. He sent it to Kuroo with a message.
[To: Kuroo-san]
Do you think I need luck for my exams?
[From: Kuroo-san]
Just wanna make sure you’ll be able to get into my school. You can never be too careful.
[To: Kuroo-san]
And who says that I’m even taking the entrance exam for your school?
[From: Kuroo-san]
I know you’ll take it because you love me. <333
[To: Kuroo-san]
Whatever. Thanks for the plush. <3
[From: Kuroo-san]
Aaaw! Tsukki! Is that a heart you sent me???
[To: Kuroo-san]
Tell anyone about it, and that’s the last heart you’ll see.
[From: Kuroo-san]
I love you too!! <3 <3 <3
Tsukishima smiled at his phone. That’s right. It was love that made him want to apply to the school Kuroo was attending. It was love that made him work harder so that he could attend that same school. This was the moment they have been waiting for, and Tsukishima is going to make sure that it goes through.
Questions
 Okay, so like that comment thread is so freaking long, it got hard for me to navigate. hahaha.
Anywaaay.... So questions!!
Captain! I really don't know who to choose between bokuto and kuroo. Since you're working (meaning that you're busier than me) and I'm an unemployed lazy bum with no life, would you like for me to work on kuroo since we don't have a set plot for him yet?
Lat! The last panel for Kenma, is Kuroo blushing with his face or his whole body? And Kenma's outfit is a blouse (or some sort of pretty top), a cardigan, and capris? Just wanna double check before I get too carried away on what I'm thinking.
If you can get to me asap, that would super awesome!!
Love always,
Mom <3333
Bonus Round 2 - Bokuto & Hinata
 Warnings do not apply. Rated T for that one bad word. Word count: 553
https://sportsanime.dreamwidth.org/13854.html?thread=5225246&posted=1#cmt5376798 (link to the prompt)
Bokuto had just finished the last practice match of the training camp, and he was starving! Everyone could hear his stomach growling, and he was not ashamed to be drooling like a wild animal that was about to eat their prey. He went outside to where all the barbeque grills were and stared at the meat and vegetables the managers had put out. Bokuto was super excited to finally be able to eat his favorite food. He was just about to dive in when Hinata popped out of nowhere.
"I won't lose next time, Bokuto-san!" Hinata exclaimed.
"Oh yeah?! Bring it on! I won't lose either!" Bokuto exclaimed back. He actually looked pretty cool until his stomach growled. Bokuto started drooling. He heard Hinata's stomach growl too, so he looked at the grill near them and said, "But before that… We need to have our meat war, Hinata!!"
Hinata's eyes sparkled. "UWOOOOHHH!!! You’re on Bokuto-san!”
“That’s the spirit, Hinata!” Bokuto yelled out.
Once again, Bokuto was about to dive for the meat when a calm, collected voice said, “You can’t eat yet, Bokuto-san.”
Bokuto looked up and saw that Akaashi was giving him a disapproving look. “But Akaaaaashiiiiii….” Bokuto whined.
“No ‘but’s Bokuto-san. Be a good role model to the underclassmen.” Akaashi turned to Hinata. “You’ll have to wait until Nekomata sensei gives a short speech. Knowing him, it won’t take long. Hold out until then, okay?”
Hinata nodded vigorously. “Of course, Akaashi-san! I’ll wait patiently as –“ Hinata was cut off by the sound of his stomach growling.
Akaashi smiled at his enthusiasm and slight embarrassment as Bokuto roared in laughter. “Don’t worry Hinata!” Bokuto exclaimed as he (lightly) smacked Hinata’s back, “We’ll eat soon! Not everyone can control their growling sto-“ Bokuto was cut off by the sound of both his and Hinata’s stomachs growling.
Akaashi chuckled and walked away while shaking his head. When Bokuto was going to continue talking to Hinata, he heard Nekomata sensei clear his throat to get everyone’s attention. Players from all the schools gathered around him and the other coaches.
“You guys did a wonderful job this past week. I know that a lot of you have learned new things and grew more as an individual and as a team. I won’t hold you back any longer. Pig out and enjoy your meal!!” Nekomata sensei said.
Everyone cheered and started filling their plates with food. Bokuto and Hinata both had sparkly eyes. They went to everyone’s grill and stole meat. Various accusations can be heard throughout the sea of volleyball players. Some of them include:
“Hinata you idiot! That was my piece of meat!”
“Bokuto you asshole! That was ours!”
“Hinata! Slow down! You’re going to choke!”
“Bokuto-san, you’ll get fat and won’t be able to spike if you eat so much.”
As the day was ending, Bokuto and Hinata could be seen in a corner. Both of them were so round that the others had to roll them back to the rooms. Even though their stomachs looked painful, the two were fast asleep. The winners of the meat war are Bokuto and Hinata. Everyone else were too busy dealing with them that they barely ate enough. It is definitely safe to say that Bokuto and Hinata are in deep trouble from their team moms.
